Pavel Nodžák (60 years old), an experienced logistics manager, has joined PST CLC Mitsui-Soko in the top executive logistics position. As Logistics General Manager, he is responsible for managing six logistics centres and setting up logistics processes to maximise efficiency and productivity in each warehouse. Among his goals is to standardize the setting of calculations for logistics services and warehouse occupation. Among other things, it plans to develop metrics to measure the performance of individual employees and entire teams.

He considers the aforementioned occupation of the warehouse to be one of his top priorities. “Warehouse occupation is the current state of occupied space in warehouses in terms of the number of pallets and their specific location. It can be bulk goods on pallets, with stacking, or pallets with goods in racks. The idea is to ensure that the warehouse capacity is used to the maximum and yet efficiently,” explains Pavel Nodžák, who has been working at PST CLC Mitsui-Soko since 1 September this year.

He wants to bring his years of experience to PST CLC Mitsui-Soko. He has been in the logistics industry for more than thirty years. In the past, he has been employed as a warehouse manager, supervisor of several warehouses and as a member of the management of several companies where he was in charge of logistics management. For example, he worked as Executive Logistics Manager at INTEC – export and import, Logistics Operations Manager for CZ, SK and HU at Alza.cz or as Warehouse and Customer Service Manager at FM Logistic. He also worked at Jan Becher Pernod Ricard as Warehouse Supervisor.

Interestingly, from 1983 to 1996 he was employed by the police as head of the homicide, violent and vice crime investigation unit. His interests include family, sports and gardening.

“I am very happy that we could welcome Pavel Nodžák to our company, because he is an experienced logistics manager who will help us to make our logistics even more efficient. I wish him every success,” says Vít Votroubek, Chairman of the Board and CEO of PST CLC Mitsui-Soko, who is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Czech Freight Forwarding and Logistics Association.
