PST CLC Mitsui-Soko and its major customer, Continental, have extended the contract in the logistics center in Nehvizdy, where the company provides logistics outsourcing and subsequent distribution to B2B customers. The contract has been extended until 2027.
PST CLC Mitsui-Soko stores tires for Continental in Nehvizdy that are intended for the mid-western region of the Czech Republic, i.e. roughly from the Vysočina region to the west.

PST CLC Mitsui-Soko in Nehvizdy provides comprehensive logistics outsourcing, including the subsequent distribution of tires in the D+1 mode. “We work in the customer’s system. We plan orders for individual routes, pick them up in the warehouse, load them into vehicles, and the next day the tires are at the customers,” says Jiří Bradna, Sales Director of PST CLC Mitsui-Soko. The company in Nehvizdy uses permanent staff and agency workers, always according to seasonal needs. The warehouse in Nehvizdy is adapted to the specifics of tire storage.
Jiří Bradna added that the long-term high level of quality of the services provided and the flexible response to dynamic requirements had a great influence on the extension of this important contract.
Acquiring new clients takes longer than before
Let’s take a look at the past year. What was Mitsui-Soko like for PST CLC? “The year 2023 was heavily affected by adverse inflationary pressures. Because of this, our costs were increasing. On the other hand, the volumes of stored goods and transports decreased. We are faced with long decision-making processes for clients, which is related to market uncertainty and declining consumption. Thus, acquiring new clients is slower. Any decision that is related to a new cost item or a change of logistics partner is always considered for a long time,” says Jiří Bradna.

The new warehouse in Pohořelice near Brno has brought new business opportunities, but it still has significant free capacity. The company focuses on maximum care for existing clients. “The goal is for customers to be satisfied with the service, the quality of services and the price conditions,” says Jiří Bradna.
He adds that the company tried to strengthen and stabilize its sales team in 2023, which resulted in an increase in business activity in the market. At the same time, marketing activities were strengthened.
