As part of its expansion in Slovakia, PST CLC Mitsui-Soko has opened a customs services branch in Košice, specifically at INTERPORT Terminal Košice, which has both normal and wide gauge tracks. This is PST CLC Mitsui-Soko’s twentieth customs services branch, the first in Slovakia.
PST CLC Mitsui-Soko in cooperation with its partner provides comprehensive customs services throughout Slovakia.
“We have opened a branch at the Košice terminal and we see great business opportunities there. Once the war conflict in Ukraine is over, the reconstruction of Ukraine will begin. The Koper-Kosice corridor will be heavily used. It will be ready to handle the onslaught of goods movement towards Ukraine so that the reconstruction of Ukraine can be fully launched and all customs clearance requirements are properly met,” says Petr Böhm, Director of Customs Services Division at PST CLC Mitsui-Soko.
He added that the terminal in Košice is currently being modernised. The PST CLC Mitsui-Soko branch is now fully operational.
