Vít Votroubek, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of PST CLC Mitsui-Soko, has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Czech Freight Forwarding and Logistics Association. “I have been active in the Czech Freight Forwarding and Logistics Association for about five years. I started in it as a member of the revision committee, then I was a member of the board of directors. I have many tasks ahead of me and I am looking forward to them. I will be attending many important international meetings, trade fairs and other events. The position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Forwarding and Logistics of the Czech Republic is very prestigious for me personally, I appreciate the election very much,” says Vít Votroubek.

As chairman of the board of directors, he will represent the members of the Czech Freight Forwarding and Logistics Association in negotiations and, of course, he sees benefits for PST CLC Mitsui-Soko as well. “I see it as a great advantage for our company that we will be among the first to have information about what is happening on the market,” says Vít Votroubek.

He has been with PST CLC Mitsui-Soko (formerly PST CLC) since 2006. He started in the company as Director of Logistics, then worked as Director of Customs Services. For the last nine years, he has been the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of PST CLC Mitsui-Soko. Interestingly, he is originally an aircraft mechanic. He worked in this profession until 1993 at the Research and Testing Institute of Aviation in Kbely, Prague. Immediately afterwards he worked in various positions in logistics in several companies.

He likes to spend his free time with his family, working in the garden, on the pond and around the animals in the guesthouse Spáleniště near Dobruška, where he lives at the same time. One more interesting fact: the land on which the guesthouse stands was originally the property of Count Colloredo Mansfeld of Opočno.
